The Independent Funeral Directors of Indiana shall be dedicated to:

Assuring families they will be served by an independent, family owned and operated funeral home, which subscribes to the highest standards in professional performance;

Advancing the recognition and importance of the independently owned funeral home to the families they serve and to the public in general;

Providing legislative monitoring and warranted responses, quality, economical educational forums, publications and networking opportunities to enhance the role of the independently owned funeral homes in Indiana.
